Heading home!!

on

And the flight is not delayed, so far at least! Last time I was notified, and I have been obsessively checking all the airport sites which show it leaving on time – yippppeeee!!

Is is appropriate to run out of the arrivals gate and throw myself at The Man at high speed, flinging my case and all else into the wind (well, oncoming people)?? Of course, this being me who is known for my grace and elegance, I would attempt that, trip over absolutely nothing on flat ground, lose control of my case which would then end up smacking some poor toddler in the head, who would be screaming, and I would be flat on my face in that really busy part of arrivals where everyone is standing behind the gates looking for their loved ones. So glad I had the opportunity to write that out. I will walk sedately out of arrivals today – and may just do a tiny bit of flinging when I am near enough for him to catch me in case I still manage to slip or trip. Wouldn’t you love to be one of those really glamorous women who get off flights looking fresher than when they got on….I am so very far removed from that it is like wondering if I could in fact be Chinese….

Anyway, can you tell I am just a bit excited about going home?! I stay with The Man tonight, go to the Marsden tomorrow to see the oncologist and get my boob micro chipped (yes, really), then home to see Hayley and the little ones after what feels like 10 years!!! Back to The Man on Saturday, back to Amman on Monday 10th…that’s the plan so far…does depend on what the oncologist says etc.

Point for today is, I am going home!!!!
