And how wonderful would it have been to have worn it for my first chemo?!? Wonder if I’ll have the guts to wear it for my second….
But who did send it?!?! I’m in The Man’s house but Hayley, somewhat confused, told me it arrived yesterday – I was cracking up laughing. So – it’s one of two of you – or I may well end up with 2 – fantastic!!
Yesterday was good, last night was pretty rough and slowly ‘coming too’ this morning. At least this is a bit of a discovery and I’ll have an idea for the next time…
Trying to figure out how exactly I am going to make all this work….mainly really around Hayley and the kids. Quality time with them, ensuring she isn’t overburdened, making time for me to heal, travel, The Man..moving house next month (yipppppeeeee)….and, and, and… I can hear the ‘one day at a time’ quotes and am working on that big time. But it is getting to me a bit as it’s all buzzing around in the background.
However, heading home tomorrow and wearing my teddy bear outfit I have no doubt will help. Really 🙂

Whoever sent you the teddy bear costume deserves a wonderful creative friend award!!! I wish it had been me. I did send you a happy kind of bathrobe (b.o.r.i.n.g.), but unless my hand slipped in the process of choosing it (which would have been some kind of divine intervention) or the company inadvertently decided you needed to be a teddy bear for a bit, it was not me. I think if it was ShivX, she would be sending you a trout costume. Believe me when I say that would be a very, very interesting and wonderful costume indeed to wear at your chemo session (or at any other time). Very Monty Python. XXXX

I found the culprit – and yes, total stroke of genius. It is in fact the same friend who spoke to me on skype in her lobster costume….Margaret – I never got your bathrobe though???? I could have a different costume for each chemo….teddy bear, happy bathrobe, trout outfit….only one more to get me through the first phase of chemo…;-)

God…that’s trout costume is BRILLIANT!!! Well done, Bene. It was only in my imagination before, but reality is better. Sonia, I’m sorry you didn’t get the bathrobe – I sent it last month sometime 😦 Hopefully, however inherited it in the Royal Mail needs it more than you do.
