Federal agents

I probably shouldn’t even be mentioning this here, but will claim temporary (permanent?!?) insanity if they arrest me….there is an ongoing investigation into fraud with a local NGO that the agency I am working with have been dragged into. And of course I have managed to be in the middle of it all – well, in fact the lead person here in Jordan….gotta love it. Not.

3 hours with them yesterday, a full afternoon with them today….its interesting doing this as the new, more vulnerable me – knocked the shit out of me. For fuck’s sake – if there were ever a time for me to scream ‘I have cancer, leave me alone’ it must be now….Not least the hair pulling out thing…

On that note, my hair appears to be growing, not falling out. Right. I may not have mentioned that it was ‘cut’ by Hayley and Yannis, a number 6 all over with a pair of home clippers – lots of fun in the doing, the end result left a lot to be desired in terms of uneven bits….all over. Which of course I thought was fine since it would be falling out – not bloody growing. In tufts. I look just lovely as you can imagine 🙂

2 weeks post chemo today. Apparently you are meant to be normal in the 3rd week before the next round. Corny, but of course tempting to comment when I was told that it would a first in my life… Still tired, still an emotional rollercoaster, happy to be in Jordan feds and all, and off I go to get ready for work!

Eeek… not sure that kind of stress is what you should be dealing with right now? Suggest you slip into your birkenstocks (yes, I’ve looked them up now… nice… cough… splutter!) and relax 🙂 xxx
