Up at 5.30am, leaving at 6.45am, fasting from 7.30am…and bloody surgery not until around 1.30pm! 

Finally get to have my General anaesthetic…however, I only actually get to sleep for just over an hour..ffs.

I am sure there will be more to come since I have 2 procedures prior to surgery and of course hours of interaction with Nurse Manuel. So long as the lovely surgeon doesn’t turn into Basil Fawlty, all should be well.
