I no longer have cancer

There was a very small amount of cancer left where the tumour was, removed during surgery and the margins around this were all clear. 15 lymph nodes were removed (lovely surgeon didn’t mean to remove that many) and only the one which had the lump originally had a small bit of cancer left. The remaining 14 were clear.

95% cancer clearout from chemo, remaining 5% removed by surgery. No more cancer.

I am weirdly numb.

Trout, this is absolutely fantastic, unbelievably wonderful news – and that, of course, is a massive understatement! I never really had any doubt that you would receive this news – it was getting to that point that was ‘tricky’. I know that, fundamentally, you always knew too that this result would come. Can not put into words how wonderful this is. Big hugs and love to you xxx

That is the best news I’ve had for the longest time – SO happy for you, Sonia!!! No wonder you are numb. You have been operating on “Danger, Will Robinson” mode for the longest time. Too long. It will sink in bit by bit. I’m so thrilled to hear this. XXXXX
